ESEE 4P

The ESEE 4 is a tough heave blade, able to be used for bush crafting and tactical applications. I’ve tried to break this knife one time batoning it through an Oak knothole.  To be honest, the knife was effectively stuck, so I decided we’ll put that warranty to the test. I hammered and hammered WITH intent to break. No such breakage. And the blade was still sharp once it went through the knot hole. After that experience I was sold on ESEE forever. Their 1095 carbon steel has a special heat treat they give all their blades, and this give it an incredible balance of strength and hardness. Plus, remember, ESEE will replace your knife even if it breaks due to abuse. They want you to use their product as you need, and if it calls for abuse they stand by it.
